Ruiying’s Type IV cylinder has entered internal testing, with a market launch currently planned for spring 2027 following validation, certification, and production preparation. Designed around lightweight composite pressure vessel technology, the new Type IV cylinder is being evaluated for potential applications in hydrogen storage, fuel-cell systems, drones, industrial gases, breathing air, and portable gas systems. Ruiying is assessing pressure performance, cycle life, liner integrity, composite winding quality, manufacturing consistency, and application suitability before releasing final specifications, certification information, and commercial details.

Ruiying is advancing the relevant medical device licensing process in China as part of its expansion into medical gas cylinder and healthcare applications. The initiative builds on the company’s experience in high-pressure cylinder manufacturing, testing, traceability, and OEM development. Future opportunities may include portable oxygen systems, hospital gas supply, emergency equipment, home healthcare, and customized medical gas storage solutions. Ruiying will release further product and compliance information after the regulatory review is completed and the approved product scope is formally confirmed.
